What is Mesotherapy?

Mesotherapy is a non-surgical, highly effective aesthetic medicine treatment that gives a boost of vitamins and deep hydration to the skin, which helps to restructure and regenerate skin for a firmer and tighter appearance.

How does Mesotherapy work?

Mesotherapy works by injecting a custom formulation of natural plant extracts, vitamins, amino acids, minerals, hyaluronic acid, and enzymes to the mesoderm (middle layer) of the skin. These injections then stimulate elastin and collagen production, resulting in smoother, firmer, and tighter skin.

How many Mesotherapy sessions are recommended for the best results?

Clients are typically recommended a series of 2-3 sessions at least 2 weeks apart to see visible results from Mesotherapy injections. Dr. Guan will work with you during your consultation to determine an individualized Mesotherapy treatment plan that best suits your needs and goals.

Is Mesotherapy treatment painful?

Before the treatment, clients will have a topical numbing cream applied to treatment areas to reduce discomfort. Mesotherapy is generally well-tolerated by clients, with minimal discomfort and pain during the injections after numbing cream is applied. However, pain tolerance and sensation vary between individuals.

What is the recovery process for Mesotherapy like?

Slight swelling at the sites of injection in the form of small, raised bumps is typical after Mesotherapy treatment. These bumps are not painful to the touch and will typically subside within 2-3 days post treatment. Some bruising and itching in the surrounding areas may also occur but will typically subside within a day. 

The side effects of Mesotherapy treatment do not impact clients’ day-to-day activities after their appointment.

3. Pre-Treatment: Cleanse and apply topical anesthesia to treatment area
4. Mesotherapy Treatment
5. Post-Treatment: Medical-grade cooling face mask to nourish and repair the skin.
6. Post-treatment care instructions.
